As I hit 200 sales today on Etsy I thought I’d share why I love using this site, even though when I started I was advised not too….

✨ As most of my work is primarily wedding illustrations, Etsy orders are always so unique! From illustrating raccoons on birthday cards to teenagers outside a pizza shop. They are always super quirky and make me challenge myself again.

✨ As harsh as this sounds, there’s no back and forth. Etsy is direct, customers purchase, tell me what they want and I do my best to create that for them. I send over a pencil sketch to make sure they are happy and that’s it, simple.

✨It makes me stick to a deadline. I’m awful at procrastinating and with Etsy orders I know I have to send something by a certain date. It helps me keep on track with orders.

✨ That weekly guarantee of a little bit of extra money. When I started this business every little helped, so that pocket of money that gets realised every Monday made all the difference.

✨ That feeling when you’re minding your own business and you hear the
CHA-CHING!!!!
