2025- what a year!

Wow, its been sometime since i last posted here, but hey new year and one of my ais is to write down achievements more, and connect to my target audience (yeh you reading this)

Where do I even start! 2025 was an incredible year for my business, I illustrated at 84 weddings and events, and travelled abroad for my first international wedding, it was epic! Amongst the incredible weddings were events and side projects. I manifested hard at the beginning of the year and set my heart on illustrating for charlotte tilbury in bicester village. Something I genuinely never thought would happen, but it did. Later in the year I received the most mind blowing email, which in all honesty I thought was a spam email. A social media company pitched to me about illustrating their characters for a broadway play called Giant. A play based on Roald Dahl. As a huge Dahl fan and of course Sir Quentin Blake (icon) this really was the most amazing honour. I get alot of comments at weddings about how my style resembles Blakes so I really had hit the jackpot with this project.

Doing this has made me even more passionate about embracing my children’s book style, although I do love fashion illustrations maybe there really is a gap in the market for my twist on both.
